About The Oregon 4-H Outreach Youth Development Education Program
The Oregon 4-H Outreach Youth Development Education website is the source for information regarding 4-H youth outreach and engagement to underserved audiences. We are committed to the positive growth of the underserved population in Oregon, including children, youth, and adults from all different cultural backgrounds.
We partner with public schools, private businesses, non-profit organizations, professionals, and volunteers throughout Oregon. We provide after-school activities to positively influence youth to pursue a postsecondary education by offering summer camps, conferences, leadership trainings and clubs and programs programs where kids learn abouth the US Education System, financial aid, scholarships, and how to apply and prepare for college. Other activities include volleyball, soccer, archery, canoeing, cultural activities, and folkloric dance. We deliver our message about the importance of higher education by connecting with youth and their families with community colleges, universities and resources.
Our program is headquartered at Oregon State University in Corvallis, but we have OSU Extension faculty and staff in every county in Oregon counties. Explore our site to learn more about activities and services for the children and youth.
