4-H Alberta – Teen Track at WRLF (specific to 4-H Members (Ages 15-20)
Looking for a healthy dose of inspiration? How about making positive changes to your life and your community? Don’t miss the Teen Track portion of the Western Regional Leaders Forum (WRLF), March 16-18, 2017 in Edmonton, AB Canada.
This conference invites youth, ages 15-20, from around the United States and Canada to explore “4-H Around the World” and “Inspiring Rural Development”. Teens will have the opportunity to participate in regular WRLF sessions, along with teen-track exclusive sessions. This includes speakers who are change-makers in their own communities. You will also have the opportunity to work with fellow 4-H members on an action plan for change in your very own community. Then share your community changing ideas during a roundtable discussion with the Minister of Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, Minister Oneil Carlier.
In addition to the educational portion of this conference, teens will be able to network with other 4-H members from across North America, show off your dance moves at a teen only dance, and enjoy the signs of Edmonton, AB. Oh, and did we mention that you could also visit the largest mall in Canada? Will you A) zipline across the wave pool at the World Waterpark, or B) ride the rollercoasters at Galaxyland Amusement Park?
