Key Outcomes

Vision and mission statements tie local programming efforts to the outreach goals of the overall project. The components of these statements reflect local needs and assets and serve as the basis for locally determined goals and objectives. The vision statement expresses the long-term ideal for the implementation of the project. The mission statement identifies how this vision will be achieved. Marion County 4-H has articulated the following statements.

Vision

Latino youth and families will enhance their individual, group, and community development and participation through their involvement in 4-H educational programs.

Mission

OSU Extension 4-H will guide and contribute to the positive development of Latino youth by offering culturally sensitive educational programs and opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills and help create a bright future.
