Vision and Mission

Goals/Objectives
Key Outcomes

Vision and mission statements tie local programming efforts to the outreach goals of the overall project. The components of these statements reflect local needs and assets and serve as the basis for locally determined goals and objectives. The vision statement expresses the long-term ideal for the implementation of the project. The mission statement identifies how this vision will be achieved. The Yamhill County project staff has articulated the following statements.

Vision

A Yamhill County 4-H Youth Development Program that honors and fully integrates youth and adults of all ethnic backgrounds in developing their full potential within nurturing communities.

Mission

To secure resources, build partnerships, and develop volunteer capacity in creating opportunities for youth and families to be engaged in developing knowledge and skills, imagining new possibilities, and acquiring attitudes of confidence, respect and success.
