Organizational DevelopmentThe mission of Oregon State University Extension is to deliver objective, research-based, nonformal education to help people solve problems, develop leadership, and manage resources wisely. This mission requires that Extension evolve along with the larger society in order to remain current with the citizens it serves. One of the major changes occurring in communities across Oregon is the increasing diversity of the population. To maintain its responsiveness as an organization, Extension has taken significant action to increse its ability to meet the needs of new audiences, in particular, Latino audiences. These actions are summarized in OSU Extension Organizational Change Summary: Increasing Capacity to Meet the Needs of Latino Youth and Families. |
