To help Latino youth learn more about becoming leaders and to help them learn about contemporary issues within the Latino community. To encourage Latino youth to pursue educational opportunities beyond high school. |
| Description |
A day of activities including small-group seminars, a scholarship competition, and a nationally recognized Latino keynote speaker or cultural performing group. All activities are centered around the theme of education and leadership. Students are encouraged to interact with other Latino youth from their area. |

| Description |
Each site provides a different program, but the same goal prevails. There is some local involvement with other organizations like the Boy Scouts, who provide the Challenge Course in Portland. Issues addressed include culture, who you are as a cultural person, careers and college, responsibility, and leadership. |
