Know Your
Government (KYG)
The Know Your Government Conference (KYG) is held annually during spring months in Oregon's capital city of Salem. KYG is designed to give 4-H members in grades 8-12 the opportunity to learn about Oregon's legislative system.
The cost for the KYG Judicial Conference is $140. Scholarships are available (see below)

- How do Lobbyists influence law?
- How does the media report and influence Oregon law?
- How is Oregon law developed through the Senate and House of Representatives?
- How does the Oregon judicial system interpret law?

KYG Conference includes a cultural event. The 2007 event was the symphony at Willamette University.
A special thank you is offered to Chevron Corp. which provides a significant donation each year to help support the KYG Conference.
Scholarships
There are a limited number of Katy Zollner Memorial Scholarships available to youth based on merit. Please note that scholarships are fully funded. Click here for an application
