State Fair 4-H Achievement Scholarship Contest
The Oregon State Fair 4-H Achievement Scholarship Contest is open to 4-H members in grades 10, 11 and 12. It judges the skills of the member in the areas of:
- completion of the application including a written essay,
- skillathon at State Fair and
- participation at State Fair.

The Staff Handbook for State Fair has not been revised for 2007 due to the lack of details/information available from Oregon State Fair. Most policies and forms will remain the same as last year. Arrival at fair, details for 4-H/FFA dorm and which gate will be open for early arrival for contests has not been announced. It will be very important to have phone numbers and emails for your contest participants and Animal Science exhibitors so if this information is available right before fair, you may still get the needed details to the 4-H members before they arrive at State Fair. We will make this information available as soon as possible once we are given the details.
