Policies for State and National Recognition Programs

  1. Members must be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade to apply for National 4-H Congress and/or to participate in the State Fair Achievement Contest.
  2. Members must be in the 12th grade to apply for State 4-H and State Fair Scholarships.
  3. Members may only receive 1 state 4-H scholarship
  4. Members may attend National 4-H Congress only once.
  5. Members may receive a State 4-H Scholarship and a trip to National 4-H Congress in the same year.
  6. Winners of State 4-H Scholarships are eligible for a State Fair Scholarship and/or the State Fair Achievement Contest.
  7. State Fair Scholarship winners are eligible for the State Fair Achievement Contest.
  8. Members may not attend National 4-H Congress and receive a state award in Leadership, Citizenship or Communication in the same year.
  9. Members attending National 4-H Congress may also participate in other National Events.
  10. Members must be in the 7th through 12th grades to be eligible for County 4-H Medals
