Aquatic Ecology and Angler Education

The focus of all 4-H programs is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens. Youth develop skills, participate in leadership activities, in sustained and caring adult partnerships. Youth engaged in angler and aquatic education learn fisheries resource stewardship, fishing ethics, casting techniques, tackle crafting, rod building, and much more. They become part of an American folkway.
