Facilities At The Center

The Center provides a secluded and natural setting for groups of 10-200 persons for:

  • Educational programs in the areas of natural science and leadership for youth,
  • Day meetings, conferences, retreats and volunteer and professional training,
  • Group picnics, family and class reunions and weddings.

Facilities include:

Cascara Lodge
Is ideal for meetings of up to 30 people. The Lodge can comfortably sleep 24.
Greider Lodge
Can accommodate from 120 to 200 people. Large fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere. The Lodge has restrooms and showers.
R.L. Clark Hall
The main dining room, features a petrified wood fireplace. Accomodates up to 140 for meals.
Stewart Chapel
Can seat 20 persons in a boardroom arrangement. Enjoy the late Ivan Stewart's collection of rocks and minerals.
Learning Shelters
There are 9 learning shelters, providing covered areas for educational programs, including Weyerhauser, Wilcox, Brumbaugh, Savage, Myers, Dietz, Walton, Nutt and Pender Shelters.
Fox and Whipple Cottages
Ideal for small meetings and lodging for up to 16 persons.
The Fox and Whipple Cottages are an ideal space for small meetings, planning retreats and could be used by a family. It is also used by youth or adult groups for overnight lodging. These cabins are complete with restrooms and showers, four bedrooms, a small meeting room, front deck and a snack bar with sink.

  • Horse Camp, including barn, tie stalls, rustic cabins and the Saddle-ite Riding Arena
