Spring Horse Classic
Spring Horse Classic (SHC) is the state competition for the following six events: Horse Bowl, Horse Judging, Hippology, Individual Presentations, Team Presentations, and Public Speaking.
SHC moves around the state with a different county hosting each year which makes it a wonderful opportunity for 4-H members to see various parts of the state and meet people from all areas. And since none of the SHC events requires a horse, these are great ways for members without horses to participate.
A county's top senior and intermediate members are eligible to compete at SHC (numbers depend on the exact event). Senior contestants have the possibility of qualifying for the national competition in Denver, Colorado.
