When traveling internationally, on official business for Oregon State University, staff members need to be aware of specific guidelines and responsibilities. The information noted below relates to travel with minors, and individual or group travel without minors.
When Traveling with Minors
If you are chaperoning a delegation to any country outside of the United States, please review the information on the attached checklist.
Official International Travel with Minors—Checklist
Forms referenced on the checklist as Oregon 4-H Document are also attached for your use. Before using these forms check with Lillian Larwood.
In addition, it is extremely important that you complete the following two steps:

Discuss your plans with Roger Rennekamp well in advance of the travel date(s)

Be sure to visit the following web site (OSU Risk Management) and review the information related to risk management and foreign travel. http://extension.oregonstate.edu/internal/internationalizing_extension . You need to register your travel with the Office of Risk Management. This is extremely important as it relates to insurance.

If you are traveling to a conference, on a sabbatical leave, or other official business outside of the United States, please review the information on the attached checklist.
