State Horse Advisory Committee

The State Horse Advisory Committee reviews, evaluates, and makes recommendations regarding all aspects of the Oregon 4-H Horse Program.

The committee is made up of volunteers, youth, and staff. Volunteers and staff serve three-year terms. Youth members serve one year terms. Applications for new members are solicited in the fall.

The committee meets twice a year, usually in March and in September. Meetings are held at the State 4-H Office at OSU. Between meetings, committee members conduct business via email.

The next meeting date is September 15, 2012.
