Volunteer Opportunities at State Fair
4-H State Fair takes place three weeks in August/September ending on Labor Day. Volunteers are needed for various duties including chairs, teen chairs, teen staff and clerks to receive the 5,000 4-H static exhibits in the 4-H Exhibit Building. They are also needed for Judging Day which occurs on the Tuesday before opening day of fair when all static exhibits are judged. This is a great opportunity to work directly with a judge as the exhibits are being evaluated. Volunteers help display all the exhibits the last two days before fair opens.
