2009 Washington Equine 4-H Study

Information for 4-H Horse Leaders and Members

The Washington State 4-H program is participating in a study of 4-H equine leaders and members over age 13. This is
one of the first research projects in the country to look at the impact
of participation in horse 4-H on youth. Mary Arnold, 4-H youth
development specialist at Oregon State University,
is leading the study and she is very excited about the project. The results of this study will be groundbreaking in 4-H!

BUT!!! The study can’t happen without your help. It is really
important that as many people participate as possible. See below for
how you can help!
